The story
Five years under a roof
I sawed these slabs on 2 November 2021 — the video of the sawing still exists. Since then they have been drying slowly under a shed roof, the way wood has always been dried: no rush, no kiln. Drying like this protects the wood from internal stresses.

About the species
Ash Fraxinus
Ash is strong and springy, light in color, with a crisp ring pattern. It is used for furniture, stairs and tool handles — it carries load well and ages beautifully.
