The story

A River Between Two Banks

A river table takes two slabs turned with their live edges facing inward, so the edge of the wood becomes the riverbank. A mold is built between them and the resin is poured.

The photos show how the tabletop changes: first the raw, pale slab on the router sled, then the pour, the sanding, and finally a river through which the grain of the wood shows.
